It’s funny we used to say this song applied to us because of the first verse “We touch I feel a rush, We clutch it isn’t much, But it’s enough to make me wonder whats in store for us”. We’d joke that we always identified with the beginnings of songs so we’d just ignore the end part because the breakup verse wasn’t us. Funny how now the end is what I identify with (except the killing part, I would never kill you)
